He will arrive on St. Barthelemy April 18th and set up his station which includes an Icom IC-706 MK 2G (w/100 watts), 10 meter vertical antenna with 24 radials and a smart tuner. YK, SYRIA. Saad, N5FF, informs OPDX that he will be arriving in Damascus on the evening of April 20th and should be active again as YK1BA from April 21st and May 2nd. He will return home to Texas on May 3rd. As usual, the purpose of the trip is not a DXpedition, so his operating will be spotty. However, Saad states that he hopes to be able to operate at least 3-4 hours a day. He also states, "With the current band conditions and my typical operating times, I suspect that I will spend most of my radio time on 30, 40, and 80 meters.

GERMANY, DA. Operators Helmut, DL1ECU and Rolf, DK1DN will be QRV as homecalls/p from Hallig Langeness, IOTA EU-042, from April 22 to May 3. This includes activity from lighthouse WLOTA LH-1245. QSL to home calls.

EU-008. Members of Macclesfield and District Radio Society will be active as GS4MWS/P from the Isle of Jura (IOSA NH21, SCOTIA CS28), Inner Hebrides between April 26th and May 3rd. Activity will be on or near the usual island and IOTA frequencies. The main IOTA meeting frequency is 14260 kHz. Other suggested frequecies are:
SSB - 28560, 28460, 24950, 21260, 18128, 7055 and 3755 kHz
CW - 28040, 24920, 21040, 18098, 14040, 10115 and 3530 kHz

GM - The Camb-Hams will be active from the Isle of Mull (EU-008) from 26 April to 3 May. They plan to operate on most HF bands (with two stations CW, SSB plus some RTTY, PSK31 and SSTV), 6 and 2 metres.
The main call sign to be used from base camp at Carsaig, on the south coast of the island (IO76), is GS3PYE/P. SOTA, WAB and VHF operation from IO66 will be under the operators own call sign.

TF - Al, LA9SN will be active around the usual IOTA frequencies from the Faroe Islands (EU-018) on 28 April, from the Westman Islands (EU-071, TF7) on 1-8 May and from the main island of Iceland (EU-021) on 9-13 May.
