BOUVET ISLAND, 3Y. Petrus, ZS6GCM is QRV as 3Y0E and will be active for the next few weeks. He has been active on 20 meters around 1500 to 1700z. QSL via LZ3HI.

3Y, BOUVET ISLAND (AN-002). Operator Petrus, ZS6GCM, is expected to be
active as 3Y/ZS6GCM from Bouvet Island, probably for the next three
months. He is with a five member team on the island and is their medic.
The operator does have a vertical antenna for 40/20/15/10 meters but
no amplifier. He is also a newly licensed amateur and has no experience
in pile-ups. So, please go easy on him. Activity will be during his
spare time only.

CE - CHILE
Al,CE1/K7CA, was very active, especially on the lowbands, last year. He produced very good signals in Europe even on 160m. Al announced to be active again from the end of December until Feb 2008 and hopefully he continues his efforts on the lowbands as well.

5H, TANZANIA. Pat, W8FV, will be returning to Mwanza sometime this week
(possibly December 20th) and is expected to be active as 5H9PD until
he returns stateside January 12th. Activity will be mostly on CW on
40-10 meters depending on propagation. He is going to try 80 meters but
with only just 100 watts, and he doesn't know how successful he will be.

Pete,SM5GMZ, is going on another business trip through Southeast Asia in the beginning of January. He is working as a photo journalist and he will be underway until April 2008. He writes that he will try to become active as much as possible during his spare time. In January he will stay in Thailand from where he will work as HS0ZFI in all modes on all bands but Pete prefers working on the WARC and low bands. By the end of January and during February he will show up as XU7ADI from Cambodia. During March he will sign 9M6/SM5GMZ from East Malaysia and 9M8Z in the WPX Contest.

Jouko,OH1RX, and XYL Merja, Pertti,OH2PM, with XYL Kirsti, Veijo,OH6KN, and Juha,OH8NC, should arrive on Nuku Hiva (OC-027) on Jan 9. They plan to put up two stations the first about 800m a.s.l. and the second on the north shore. They will be QRV with three stations simultaneously on 10-160m with focus on 30-160m until Jan 22. They have verticals and beverages with them and also three 4-ele-yagis for the high bands.
