BA4, CHINA. Jack, WB8FSV, informs OPDX that he will be vacationing in Qingdao, China, again this June. He is expected to be there between June 10-30th. This will be his fifth trip to China. Jack will operate as "WB8FSV/BA4IT" during his spare time. His XYL Lily is from Qingdao and they will be staying with her family. On the way home they will stop at Hong Kong to check out Hong Kong's Disneyland and to see his friend Charlie, VR2XMT. He doesn't plan to operate from Hong Kong. QSL direct or by the bureau.

EU-030. Heinz, DL4AO, will be active as OZ/DL4AO from Bornholm Island (BO-001 for the Danish Islands Award, WLOTA LH-2203) between June 10-26th. He will operate in his early morning and late afternoon hours, mostly on 20 meters. While on Bornoholm he will also operate on 6 meters using CW and SSB. All of the QSOs will be confirmed automatically via the bureau.

4W - EAST TIMOR, OC-148
The Spanish radio society URE (Union de Radioaficionados Espanoles) is
planning a DXpedition to Dili, the capital of East Timor, using the
callsign 4W6R in June 2008. They plan to build up an amateur radio club
station at the university in Dili as well. The equipment -which will
stay in East Timor as a donation- consists of a Kenwood TS-690,
a Mosley beam TA63M, a G5RV antenna and an antenna rotator. A second
station will be activated but taken home again after the DXpedition.

DENMARK, OZ. Heinz, DL4AO is QRV OZ/DL4AO from Bornholm Island, IOTA EU-030, until June 26. Activity is mostly on 20 meters and in his early morning and later afternoon hours. He will also be on 6 meters using CW and SSB. QSL to home call.

YU8, KOSOVO. A couple of sources report that Jose, CT1FKN (aka 4W6FK and T98FKN) is in the Portuguese Army and has been in Kosovo with the NATO peacekeeping force "KFOR" for a while. Jose has received permission to be active as YU8/CT1FKN until September 20th. There has not been any QSNs reported, but Jose's activity will be on the HF bands only. HS91, THAILAND (Special Event). The HS91LIONS special event station marks the 91st Lions Clubs International Convention held in Bangkok, Thailand, between June 23-27th. Lions are an international network of 1.3 million men and women in 202 countries and geographic areas who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world; it was established in 1917. Since then the association of Lions clubs has provided millions of people with the opportunity to give something back to their communities.

GT7, ISLE OF MAN (SOTA Activity). Phil, G4OBK, will be visiting the Isle of Man this week and will be using the Scarborough special events callsign GT7OOO/P to activate several of the summits on the Island for SOTA award.
His activity will be mainly on 40 meters CW. He expects to be active for up to 8 hours during the daylight in several sessions between Monday, June 23rd and Friday, June 27th, from the top of the hills. QSL is via the Bureau to G0OOO. Phil mentions that this will be the first time that the GT7 prefix has ever been aired on HF.
