G - John/M0XIG, John/G4POF and Tony/2E0SBS will operate special event station GB2BST on 2-3 May from the site of the optical telegraph at Bramshaw in the New Forest, Hampshire. Expect them to be active mainly on 20 and 40 metres. The Bramshaw Shutter Telegraph was one of a number that operated as a communication link for the Admiralty between London and Plymouth.
