TURKEY, TA. Special event station TC17GS will be QRV from June 1 to 15 to mark the 17th Turkish Soccer Championship of the Galatasaray.
QSL direct via TA0U. In addition, special event station TC40TRT will be QRV May 31 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Turkish Radio TRT. Activity will be on 40, 20 and 17 meters. QSL via TA1HZ.

Galatasaray Istanbul. Galatasaray Istanbul was founded in 1905 and is
the most successful football club of Turkey. TC17GS will be QRV mainly

On May 31 the special event station TC40TRT will be activated on
40m/20m/17m to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Turkish radio TRT.

TC17, TURKEY (Update). Urcun, TA0U, will be active as TC17GS between June 1-15th. Operations will be on 40 and 20 meters and the activity is to celebrate the 17th Championship of Galatasaray. Recently, Galatasaray has won the 2007-2008 Turkish Super League title and will be one of the two teams representing Turkey in the 2008-2009 Champions League. A special "AWARD" will be available and sent out for the contacts made on two different bands. A special QSL card will be sent for all contacts via mail-direct or Bureau.
